Instead of a traditional paneled construction like the "7 Cuts" shirt, the Ribbon Shirt is built by meticulously stitching vertical, frayed ribbons of assorted vintage flannel shirts directly onto the front panels. The entire piece is then subjected to a dark green over-dye bath, which beautifully tones down the mismatched plaid patterns into a rich, deep forest green hue while preserving unique flashes of under-colors. Because it is assembled entirely from secondhand garments, no two shirts are exactly identical.
